I figured out the one thing this team is GREAT at.

I think the most "freakish" thing I've seen all year was the missed Saints kick. You can say the 49ers game, but that was on the players, not some magic ball bounce or tipped pass that lands right in someone's hands.

The Falcons.....they wins games as if it were called down from the heavens. There is that one play...or today.....it was actually a whole bunch of critical plays....that go Atlanta's way in each game.

Only 6 of the Saints 13 wins came by 20 or more points. That's what I would call a blowout. I like the idea of playing great memorable games that are regularly called the best game of the year. What this team proves week after week is that stats are pretty but playing football is what counts. The Falcons play football and they don't stop for 60 mins.

We do have a very high turnover differential, just like the Saints ended up with. I bolded the key reason why I dont think we are comparable to their SB winning team last year. We are not a feast or famine team. We dont blow people out, usually, and we dont get dominated, usually.

You can attribute it to luck, destiny, or whatever; the fact is we have a great coaching staff that prepares well, players who work hard for 60 minutes, and some guys on both sides of the ball who are just great at making plays when it counts.
