We have faced them 3 times in 3 years and lost all 3 but lets see. in 2009 (last season) We didnt have Ryan so Throw that game out of the books because with Ryan no way that stay that same.Now back to my point.

Yes both teams are different now but Ive heard people say how they always beat us and not just beat us destroy us.Well people easily forget only reason we didnt have a chance to win was ADAM JENNINGS MUFFING A PUNT. We were down 6 with around 2 mins left If I remember correctly. There was no reason why Ryan couldnt of driven for a GW TD not saying he would bit it was possible.

Again a 2 possession game. Did the Eagles man handle us for most of the game? Yes. But we were driving with about 3 minutes left.(Duntaless and are most sloppiest game all year) Then the refs "botched" a call on the field that we couldnt challenge since we were out of time outs (just like the Adam jennings muff in 08 .... go figure) and If Im remembering correctly again I believe we were on their side of the field inside the 40 So we could have scored and maybe we recover the onside kick and go for the game tying drive.

So in conclusion I really dont no why everyone is SOOO Scared of this team. We have always kept the game within 2 Scores (when Ryan is playing) I know they lost Vick beforehand and Jackson during the game but in my opinion the loss of Jackson=the loss of Dunta. If both the Eagles and the Falcons make it to the NFCCG I will not be a fan scared I will believe In our Offense and I believe we will have the perfect gameplan to shut out vick and to keep away from giving up many (if any at all) big plays from the eagles WR/RBs.

I don't think we will have to worry about them because we won't play them. The Giants or Bears will eliminate them before the nfc championship game

The biggest thing I'm scared of is Vick's return in the NFCG tearing my city apart with race wars and other BS.

But on topic, the Eagles are the only team in the entire league that I can see beating us. I still think we beat them if we play again, but the facts that they are the only team that beat us decisively this season and we simply do not match up that well with them are the reasons why anybody would be "scared" of them.

The NFL loves soap operas,...got this feeling we'll see Vick in Atlanta in the playoffs, had this feeling for over a month now. It's great marketing ya see. And a great story.

I'm more afraid of the Patriots (my favorite team in the AFC) than I am of any other team in the league.

I don't like our chances for two reasons.

A.) They just have our number for some reason..

B.) We are playing on turf. Every team is faster on turf. They are already faster than us, we don't need them to be faster.

just thought of a third one:

C.) Vick is familiar with the stadium, and the noise so it would be a non-factor for him.

That was beautiful to watch, even though they lost! Smile

Still, can't help but wonder if the Pats just didn't know what to expect out of the guy, or maybe he was a question mark in terms of game planning. Pats are a damn good team.

True, true, that 's true. Touche. I forgot all about that game. When I watched that game, I was thinking about how beatable their defense looked.

The biggest mess up Flynn had was that 4th quarter throw when they were driving down to tie the game. He threw the ball into double coverage with the safety over the top, for an easy pick. Ryan would have NEVER thrown that ball there. Plus we have a running game to throw the Patriots secondary off. I'm telling you, after watching that game, the Patriots are the team that I would want to play against in the superbowl. How great would it be to watch Ryan Matt beat Tom Brady (most likely league MVP) in the Super Bowl?
