I'm getting goosebumps thinking about it. I think this is going to be one of those epic games, kinda like those 49ers cowboys games in the 90's, except this time I only hate one of the teams!

No, you see, that's the brilliance of it. If the NFL let the Saints win the Super Bowl right after Katrina then everyone would suspect that it was rigged. Do you really think the Bears were better than the Saints in '06? So you see, by making them wait, it was all part of the NFL's master plan!

You have to make it look like they earned it. You can't just leave the conspiracy open like that. it's too easy.

Nah I'm just joking. I don't believe it either. I think they earned it. Certain just went their way last year just like it is for us. That's why I believe.

Just think leading up to the Super Bowl they do a story about how the fans of the Atlanat Falcons created a hickory stick award for their team.

It was pretty obvious the NFL and Goodell specifically, nudged the Saints along. They caught a lot of breaks esp. with officiating that year. It made for a great story, it made the NFL more popular.

The NFL is getting around to giving Atlanta the Super Bowl finally after that pesky Sherman's March to the Sea back in 1864.

1. Anyone who thinks games in the NFL are rigged by the NFL, the refs etc... is off his/her rocker. It's preposterous and the owners wouldn't stand for it. This isn't TV Wrestling!

2. Roddy's first tweet was directed at Dilfer's comments on ESPN. Dilfer is such a stupid name anyway he doesn't need a nick... He's a Dilfer already sounds like an insult. Smith jumped in on the comment when a Aint's fan made him aware is my understanding. The Aint's fan base are the ones who escalated this by hurling insults at Roddy! These morons down in the gumbo swamp are a bunch of insecure *&^% heads who really think this will fire up their team.

3. We really need to win this game and I sure hope Roddy burns them for 100+ yards and 1 or 2 TD's

I agree. I don't think you can find a human being on this planet that hates the Saints more than I do. I hate their colors, their city, their fans, and I even cringe when someone posts something positive about them on Facebook. However, to the NFL handed them a Superbowl is just ridiculous. This year for the Falcons helps me see that more. One could argue that the NFL made sure we weren't called for penalties in both Tampa games, Roddy wasn't called for the pushoff in the Ravens game, even ignored penalties in the 49er's games. Sometimes it's just a team's year, and I think 2009 was just that for the Saints. Good thing is it's 2010 now and this is the year of the Falcon.

Bingo! If I were an owner there's no way you would get me to agree to let my team tank it for a year. Then tell my GM, coaches, and players to not only tank it but keep this secret. Most players can't even control what they tweet how in the hell can they keep a secret of that magnitude??
