The Falcons lost so what?





I have been lucky lately with my sports teams.

The All Blacks won their first world cup since I was born.

The Waikato Cheifs won their first super rugby title.

The Waikato/BOP Magic won NZ's first ANZ Championship.

I got a trophy yesterday for go karting, even if it was the hardluck one.

The Falcons made the NFC Championship game thats cool.

Only got one team left and in two weeks the Rotorua Rebels Superstock team will hit the track and hope to destroy other teams. It will be tough being weaker but still will be fun to watch the hits.

Thanks for the season yall see you here in October.

Not my teams.

Braves: Lost first ever wild card playoff game.
Georgia Southern: Lost to NDSU in semifinals after allowing a TD with less than 2 minutes to go.
Falcons: Led for 52 minutes in NFC Championship game but couldn't hold on.

That's too much heartbreak for a 4 month period.

I've been an ATL sports fan my whole life. All 3 of our pro teams are in the playoffs each year. A far cry from the loserville of the 70's and 80's.

We got it good now trust me.

That what makes it suck so bad. Winning for almost the entire game just to have it slip away.

yeah, just imagine if you were a jaquars fan, or browns, or chiefs.......or worse, a taints fan

how many of y'all are old enough Falcons fans to remember the 70's and 80's? remember no back to back winning seasons? remember every year drafting in the top 10?

Am I depressed and disappointed? yeah, but could it be worse, because history has proven it to me??? heck yeah!

Its better then a blowout. We showed we belonged. We made it closer in our game than the pats did. We proved we are one of the top NFC teams in these two playoff games. We beat and held our own and even at times dominated the two hottest NFC teams

Being a UGA and Falcon fan has been trying this year. So close... but no matter win or lose, its still just a game and the sun will still rise up tomorrow
