How many "elite" seasons does Roddy have left?
me and a friend were having an argument on when receivers start to slow down. He argued that wide outs can start to slow down as early as 30 years old, I think with great wide-outs like Roddy it can be up to 34. Coming from past receivers, when do you think Roddy will start to go down in his career? Another 3 or 4 seasons like this and I'll be more than happy. Andre Johnson is the only receiver that can be mentioned in the same sentence as Roddy at this point in the season, and he's a few months older I believe.

Marvin Harrison didn't break until he was around 35, and that started with a major injury.
Depends on the player. Roddy is an extremely powerful wide receiver that has a strength advantage on a lot of guys, so they helps him like it does Terrell Owens. Terrell Owens is 37 and looks as good as ever... well... until he injured his knee today. |

He truly is a spectacular athlete along with an amazing wide receiver, and I'm thankful that he's on our team. This is likely his last season.

Roddy will most likely have until 32 or 33 for this type of season. He can be effective until 36 or 37 if he remains in shape. Keep in mind he has low mileage at this point.

I think for receivers, age 32 is the generally accepted equivalent of the "30-year old RB." So, I'd say White's got at least three more years of elite production in him.
