Folks, now that Gritz has his own stage to dazzle us with his talent, you're gonna get the best of both worlds with Gritz's work exclusive to AFT and mine to the OMB!

Some of you know that Gritz and me are the best of friends in real life and in fact we may indeed be "brothers from other mothers". It was Gritz that came to my house some 18 months ago to show me how to use my Wacom tablet with Photoshop (both which had been gathering dust for a long time), and if not for that, my work would likely still be black & white pen & ink. Since then, we have developed a true friendship and most Sunday's during season will find Gritz at my place having seizures as we cheer on our boys in red & black!

What's really cool now is that Gritz and I can use each other as sounding boards, bouncing ideas off of one another while making sure that our weekly toons aren't too similar. As Gritz has alluded to, fresh and non-repetitive ideas can be the hardest part of the work, especially with our division rivals that we play twice a season.

Anyway, enough of my rambling and what I really wanted to say is:

lol, well, I figure that if Hank can come up with a new ditty for MNF every week, I should be able to come up with a new 'toon. His lyrics are always based on the same song for MNF, but always original and good. I've never once listened and said; "Oh, now THAT was a stretch!"

Between the 2 of us and with each others help, we'll make it through the season!
