I also like the idea of Grimes at free safety. I don't think there's a DB in the league with better hands than this kid and he's definitely a ballhawk.

No way the Falcons will let him get away after the way he's performed this season and last.

RE: Grimes
It has taken a couple of years for Grimes to develop. as it will for
Owens.

I don't like the idea of Grimes being our last line of defense against a run play.

Completely agree i like Grimes but I think we can all agree he doesn't tackle like a safety he is a good corner lets be happy we have good DB's I don't know how long it's been since we can say that

RE: Grimes
Why should he move to FS? He's an excellent CB. When he slows in 8 years you can move him until then keep him where he is best?

RE: Grimes
Little Grimey held his own again. Palmer was targeting Chris Owens all day.

G-DAWG!

You got Pat Y to talk about Baker's stock falling, right? How bout trying to get him to write something about Grimey (as he likes to be called)? Maybe see what his NFL guys say about Grimes.

Because it can't just be us noticing that teams are rarely challenging him, and that when they do, he's usually up to the challenge.

I was definitely one of the people thinking that Owens was going to start opposite Robinson at the beginning of the season. Grimes has played well beyond my expectations. He's playing with a lot more confidence this year compared to last.

RE: Grimes
Oh yeah, we need to extend and pay Grimes, no doubt about it.
