RE: Giants and Iggles
And the Eagles still scare me, offensively and defensively.

DeSean Jackson looks scary fast, last time we played them nobody could cover him. And now Vick is under center, he's explosive, hard to tackle.

I really cant see how our Defense could match up with them.

Apparently, Vick himself has now admitted he cheated the Falcons.

But enjoy yourself in his jock anyway, Falcon fan.

Not many defenses ARE going to match up w/them well. At this point, I just think someone needs to send Vick a big bag o' weed. Undecided

The sad thing is that I think the Giants are the best team to stop him. AND they are pretty much doing the right things TO stop him.

Except they aren't stopping him!

They are bringing pressure from the front side because he doesn't throw well going to his right.

In fact, at halftime his rating is only 75, so they are doing pretty well at slowing him down. Without the two turnovers, this is a very close game.

In the 2nd half we'll probably see more screens left and designed scrambles right.

outside of him having a bad night, theres no way to stop him if the other aspects of the offense are clicking. like vick said he loves it when they spy him because that takes a man out of coverage. when you have receivers that excel at getting separation and a legitimate pass catching threat coming out of the backfield its hard to stop even with the number 1 defense in the league.

RE: Giants and Iggles
You have to blitz Vick. Period. If you let him stand back in the pocket too long he will tear you apart. If you pressure him very quickly before his play has a chance to develop you can nail him and that offense.

RE: Giants and Iggles
the eagle receivers dropped 2 easy tds. this game shouldnt even be close.

you blitz like that then your defense is gassed. theres no solution to the situation if all elements are clicking. even with the eagles dropping 2 tds they are still beating the 2nd best offense and 2nd best defense in the league. no more excuses, vick is the best qb in the league this year.
