What question was there to side step? You talking to anyone about side stepping shit when most of your responses is just picking out one paragraph in someone's post and then riding with that while ignoring the rest of it is comical.

do you watch football around league ? hypothetical question

going forward who will have more of a game changing impact on there franchise

Dez or Weatherspoon

answer ? can you do that with out homerism or spin ?

I'm delusional from our playoff loss against GB . Don't take me seriously until year 2413 .

Also Radical guess your looking at one of my old post ..in regards I would have only drafted 1 starter . You dont know that and you dont know the situation they were drafted into . How do you know Bowman couldnt have started here or even Griffen over Bierman . You really dont know how situation would have played out but Ill tell you one thing I still love that draft over TD past cause we would have our PLAY MAKING WR to go along with Roddy in future ...Now were looking for one this year ..

(19)Dez Bryant ..WR ..Oklahoma
(83) Navorro Bowman LB..Penn St
(94)Everson Griffen ....DE USC
(117)Eric Norwood LB ...South Carolina
(149)Matt Tennant C.......BC
(165)Anthony Dixon RB ....Miss ST
(189)Jordan Pugh DB...Texas a&m
(226) Selvish Capers OT ..West Virgina

His contract only has 2 years left on it....it certainly wouldn't preclude the Falcons from sending him packing.

Be a cap hit of about 3 mil, but it would save 4 mil in salary, and the Falcons are going to be waaaaaay under the cap if there is one.

(01-27-2011 11:48 AM)Swift Is a Die Hard Wrote:  For the scheme we run Jenkins is the perfect 3 option and even 2 option . in 08' Ryan rookie year Jenkins put up decent numbers for a 2wr in a ball control run philosophy offense. We all want the play maker /speed wr but in this offense and with a QB who basically has no clue how to throw a deep ball or any touch Jenkins and Tony G fit the scheme .

Jenkins isn't a perfect fit as the 2. Even if you decide Ryan has a noodle arm, you need a guy who can WIN AT THE BALL for your 2 receiver. A guy like Muhsin Muhammad, Plaxico Burress. Jenkins doesn't do that. People think since he's 6'5, he's a good possession jump ball guy, but that's not his skillset. Jenkins is basically a speed receiver who has no quicks. That's a 4 receiver.

If we had a true 2, Muhsin Muhammad//Burress type guy, both the short and long game would open up more.

So, even if you think Ryan's not good, that doesn't make Jenkins a good fit.

"I like Dorsey as well think he will be a great NFL player but when I look at Gholston I see something special. Like the next LT or Merriman."

Please keep making the discussion all about how you know better than TD when it comes to evaluating talent, Swift. Such an easy argument to win.

I'll sit back now and wait for the bit about how it takes courage to talk outta your ass on a message board.

as for your post what TD draft pick hasnt gotten hurt ..ask yourself that ..
Every year just another guy lost in injury ..You should come down of the high horse of yours on TD he really hasnt done a great job ..Did he stabilize the franchise yes but his picks and his building have not lead to a playoff WIN .. should give more credit to Mike Smith head coach

HD
Meier
Weatherspoon
Robert James
Baker...missed games
Perria Jerry.
Moore..

Then he got some real DUDS

Chris Owens
Sidbury
Chevis Jackson
Perria Jerry is basically useless.....he took Peters knowing he missed on Jerry

I take it you didn't like the Jerry pick when it was made, then?

I was in love with Gholston ..cant deny that ..dead wrong man enough to admit that..No way did i see that shit I even though Rex Ryan would get him on track in 3-4 defense never happened. That is what happens though coop when you have a opinion of your own and dont pay $$$ for stats only to be proven wrong in long run ..

Im not afraid to admit i was dead wrong on Gholston ..bust and if Rex Ryan cant figure out to use him then he truly is
I also liked Ryan and thought he was going to be a solid NFL QB ..still do

you win some lose some

Coop ..want to give me some credit on these threads

NEED AT MLB - CURTIS LOFTON

THIS ONE WAS HANDS ON BRILLIANT

link FOR COOP

Quote:He has the football smarts to get the ball out of his hand and read the defense. This is something Michael Vick did not comprehend and the same with Harrington and the wind up motion of Bryon Leftwich . These incable QBS lead to numerous unwanted sacks. I always said a great QB who understands the game makes his oline better . Of course our oline needs work but having a QB like Ryan who from everyone says has all the intagaibles and the work ethic will only improve our oline . I bet when we see him play our sacks will drop drastically . He might go through his rookie struggles but holding onto the ball is not one of them

you win some lose some

Or in your case, you lose some, then lose some more.

Spin it however you want. That draft would have set us back five years.
