The fact that even tho Abe was held out of the Rams game, Sid got no playing time. Owens got owned, yet wasn't pulled for Franks, or Coleman not put at FS and move WillieMo or DeCoud up to nickel...i could go on and on, but it's the apparent failure to make changes during the game.

That's my biggest worry / complaint by a long shot. I can handle the lack of talent issues easier because during the season you have who you have, nothing much can be done about it at that point.

Granted the team didn't quit the other night but I would have rather seen a greater sense of urgency. After it became apparent that the Owens experience was going to be a debacle (the pinnacle moment being when Smitty threw his headset), I thought for sure we would see Franks, or Colemen, or hell anyone! Try something, try anything! When we didn't it quickly became apparent that our fate was sealed. After 35-14 I knew we were done.

But we just stayed stubborn, sticking to our plan that was obviously failing and before long the game just got away from us. I think the defensive performance the other night was on par with our worst offensive performance of the season, the Philly game and the coaching staff's approach was eerily similar.

Yeah, I made it a point on Sunday to wear my Falcons stuff out and wear it proudly because I knew there had to be a bunch of reactionary bandwagoners who wouldn't. I felt like it was my duty to try and set an example.
