I forgot about Edwards playing one DE spot. I don't know where we put Nicholas really... he could play ILB if we put Spoon outside but I think we would be better off with Sppon and Lofton inside and Sidbury and Biermann outside with what we already have, unless Biermann just utterly failed. Regardless we would need ultimately to get a stud OLB sooner or later if it isn't Spoon. On another note... Akeen Dent and Lofton at ILB would be a legit combo also with Spoon and Sid outside.... dang!!! Now THERE is the LB Corp to start with!! |

Beef, everytime I stare at your posts I become entranced......100% deadly. wow! and I'm not talking about your writing skills. |

If we were to switch to a 3-4 Defense (Which I wont mind hense I think this Defense needs a change in identity) Id have it like this
Spoon----Lofton----Nicholas-----Sidbury Babs--------------FA\DP----------------Peters Since we like to rotate Id have Jerry and Edwards rotate at DE. Bierman I say will be a 3rd OLB as I think Sid beats him out in preseason. But if anyone thinks Edwards wouldnt fit in a 3-4 let me know since im wondering and not totally sure on him |

I purposefully left Edwards off because I refuse to acknowledge his existence.

Well for anyone wanting to switch I'm just warning you now, be prepared for a learning curve and for the defense to have moments where it looks down right silly. I don't want to switch just to switch. It's still a defense where you need the personnel for it to work.

Writings, you mean all that stuff I scroll past as quickly as I can to get to the pictures at the bottom? On another note, I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised by the turn of events and how positive I feel today, especially after the pathetic display of potted meat mmm hmm we displayed yesterday. |

Not hard, you just need the coach. |

I'm not going to get into the rest of your post, but this is just flat out wrong. The 2000 Ravens defense was a 4-3 defense. Their line had Sam Adams and Tony Siragusa playing DT, with Rob Burnett and Michael McCrary at DE. |

I thought Houston and Green Bay had lost their minds when they switched, but that shows how much I know. Our Defensive players are so much more athletic than they were when we tried to switch to the 3-4 the first time. We had Patrick Fucking Kerney as an OLB, Brooking and Draft's old slow asses, it was a nightmare. I think we could easily switch with a few additions. It can't be any worse than what we are currently fielding. I'm torn over whether to keep Spoon outside or pair him in the middle with Lofton. |
