RE: why am I not concerned ?
I don't quite get the bashing of our QB and HC. Together they have never lost back to back games. That means they rally from mistakes and miscues and win games. So we lost. We lost really because of two big plays. The Newton run and the screen that closed the front door. I believe both came on 3rd down. Had we stopped both of those than we could have had a legitimate shot to win the game. Our D was gassed and playing with our 3rd and 4th string corners out there. Had Asante been healthy and on Smith I think we might have had a better chance, but he was open every time Newton needed a big play.

Saying that the team is never prepared after long breaks in nonsense. We do very well coming off the bye. It is traditional for most coaches to give time off after a win or during a long break. At this point in the season you are ready or not physically. You can watch film anywhere. It is obvious that our team prepares just as hard as any other. We lost, it happens.

Looking at the Giants they are one of the most schizophrenic teams out there. Look at their last five games
Home v Pitt L 20-24
Road v Cincy L 13-31
Bye
Home v GB W 38-10
Road v Wash L 16-17
Home v NO W 52-27

How do you explain that? You think our team has problems with consistency?
We match up pretty well: each with a top 10 offense and a top 10 scoring D.

At home with something to prove and a reason to win: We can clinch HFA this week with a win and a loss by SF (at NE - can happen) and a loss by GB (at Chi - can happen)
I like our chances.
