the updated depth chart
here is the "official" depth chart from AF.com:

The glaring gap is behind Baker at LT. As soon as McClure is cleared to play, Bruggeman needs to be released to make room for a LT back up. Baker has a propensity to get injured and we need more than Svitek to back him up. Valdez might be the guy for the job. Or, maybe a better alternative can be plucked from another team's practice squad.

didn't svitek back up baker last year? i really don't understand why we let valdez and jackson go. and personally, i'd rather have kept Bush than Shillenger

he played all 16 last year, i think he got that under control working on his core strength. that's what has kept abraham on the field for the last few seasons.
