I'm delusional from our playoff loss against GB . Don't take me seriously until year 2413 .

RE: Falcons schedule
that shit kind of looks brutal ...3 out of first 4 on road..I would take 2-2

after the bye Colts then 3 straight tough home games

RE: Falcons schedule
Here is my quick prediction sure to change about the schedule

1 Sun. Sep. 11 at Bears 1:00 PM
Win - Nothing about this Bears team scares me, especially with the League taking Devin Hester out of the return situation. I still can't figure out how Cutler got that team to Championship game.
2 Sun. Sep. 18 vs. Eagles 8:20 PM
Loss - I really would like to see the boys take this one, but logically I can't pick against Reid. Coach has our number.
3 Sun. Sep. 25 at Buccaneers 4:15 PM
Win - A young team trying to prove themselves, still think they are a few players away from being great. Talib may be still be suspended for this game.
4 Sun. Oct. 02 at Seahawks 4:05 PM
Win - It's the NFC West. Do I need to say anything else
5 Sun. Oct. 09 vs. Packers 8:20 PM
Loss - Another heartbreak. League did us no favors with our National games this year. Return trip from the West Coast will take it's toll.
6 Sun. Oct. 16 vs. Panthers 1:00 PM
Win - Doesn't matter who the QB is. This team is terrible
7 Sun. Oct. 23 at Lions 1:00 PM
Win - Much like the Bucs. A team that is still a year or two away from being great. However, Suh can change the outcome of any game he plays in.
8 BYE
9 Sun. Nov. 06 at Colts 1:00 PM
Win - I'm being optimistic with this game. Bye week should help with preparation, but Manning is very difficult to beat in his own house.
10 Sun. Nov. 13 vs. Saints 1:00 PM
Win - This series will be spit with the home team holding serve.
11 Sun. Nov. 20 vs. Titans 1:00 PM
Win - Likely a first year quarterback coming to the dome. Fans should win this one.
12 Sun. Nov. 27 vs. Vikings 1:00 PM
Win - Two weeks in a row where a likely first year quarterback will face the noise.
13 Sun. Dec. 04 at Texans 1:00 PM
Win - I'll be at this game. Falcons need to Win.
14 Sun. Dec. 11 at Panthers 1:00 PM
Win - Panthers at this point will be tanking for another Top 5 pick.
15 Thu. Dec. 15 vs. Jaguars 8:20 PM
Win - League says their sorry about the brutal National games with this semi-national.
16 Mon. Dec. 26 at Saints 8:30 PM
Loss - Extra rest from the Thursday night game should help, but both teams will likely be playing for Division Championship rights. Crowd noise is the difference here.
17 Sun. Jan. 01 vs. Buccaneers 1:00 PM
Win - Need to close out the season strong. Maybe fighting for first round Bye.

So that comes out to an overly optimistic 13-3, though 11-5 is the more likely scenario. (Colts and other stupid loss or end of the season with everything wrapped up.)

I have yet to look at how the bye weeks set up for the other teams, and draft free agent signings can change the way my prediction shapes out. Kolb being traded to the Seahawks or Vikings could change those predictions.

RE: Falcons schedule
We did have a season in which we played four teams coming off a bye. The away games appear to be favorable regarding the weather.

I see 9-7 ...10/6 all subjective to trades and drafts and injury free free pre season

I think we open up season 0-2 ..Bears game on road is not a easy opener I dont expect them to be as good as last year but plying on the road opening day def favors Bears

I see the Eagles beating us Reids has our number plus Vick going to do damage

then a must win game @ Tampa ..i think we either save our season here or it can get ugly ..

RE: Falcons schedule
The opening game will tell alot.

I also think we lose in Chicago. It's similar to last season at Pittsburg.

The Bucs are coming ya'll.

RE: Falcons schedule
Well last season we had a cup-cake schedule. Ended up winning 13 of the games. Then we were 1 and Done in the Playoffs.

So Im all for taking the hard route to get back to the Playoffs. Maybe this way will turn out different
