i feel like we scout, draft, and sign coachable guys...we've passed on a few questionable locker room personalities...if we have this group of blue collar, work our asses off squad, why aren't they doing it?

and this isn't to say that Mularkey is the problem, but under the assumption TD has skipped on the likes of Dez Bryant and such for better personalities...what do you think is the problem at this point? are players not as good as we think they are?

RE: a blessing in disguise???
I don't think it's a question of a lack of work. I think on certain things, we just fell behind the curve. Namely our offensive line and Roddy White, but the rest of the stuff is just a question of circumstance.

Our biggest offensive problem right now is Ryan missing on deep passes, receivers dropping passes, and offensive line penalties. The first one is complicated, the second one is a mixture of a rookie being a rookie and a guy like White not having an off-season with our coaching staff, and the third is do to the constant rotation we've been dealing with on top of a lack of an off-season.

It's amazing really. We've managed to let the smallest things bite us in the biggest way. We have the talent and we have the coaching, we just haven't put it together. If and when we do it, we'll be golden. It would also help if we could avoid injuries... looking at you defense.

Well, we have a top 10 defense, so no complaints there. Although a playmaking FS would take us to another level.

The offense... It just isn't in sync right now. Players are consistently put in positions to make plays, yet don't for whatever reason. Sometimes it's Ryan, sometimes Roddy, sometimes Gonzo, Julio... I think it's just one of those situations where things click one day and suddenly all is right in the world.

Ive been thinking D.Robinson is a great tackler so is C.Woodson and I think its a little easier to gaurd a TE then a WR so maybe he can be our C.Woodson 2.0.
Then we move Franks outside. Just give him more reps with number 2 receivers and u will see him get better. He mirrored Andre step for step on that long ball it was a thing of beauty but just Andre being Andre making a great hold on the ball.

MM is possibly a candidate for Jacksonville. Should we cross our fingers?

I pray we aren't just missing his new genius, and run him out only to wish we never had.

As well as Robinson has played in coverage for 2/3 of the season, I see no reason to move him. Keep him where he is at, keep Grimes locked up, and keep looking for CB depth.

Can they take him next Thursday Big Grin

The last thing that I'm worried about is finding a good replacement if Mularkey was to leave. We have established a pattern of winning and have a strong organization and a roster with lots of talent. This would be a very coveted job.

Plus, Ralph Friedge is available!
