Wasn't fluky either. Recheck the stats, and you'll see that team had talent. The year Minn had overshadows the Falcons' year, but they were more than just an ok team that year.

The Falcons are the only team in NFL history to have multiple losing seasons both before and after a Super Bowl appearance.

Then again very few teams start Ken Oxendine and Byron Hanspard who averaged 3.2 and 2.8 yards respectively per carry.
