In order for this team to finish the year with a winning record the offensive line play will need to improve extensively.

We use to be a power running team that ran to set up the pass.. Now it seems that they're trying to be a full passing offense and our oline isn't capable of doing that. Our offensive line is in shambles and we gave up 5 picks for a WR that we only target a few times a game.. I like Julio and I think he'll do tremendous things for our offense but maybe this wasn't the year to make a move like this. This team is going away from what made them successful in the first place and I think we'll take a step back because of it.

I mean it is turning into a passing league but Matt Ryan is a pocket passer so you better have a damn brick wall in front of him for him to be successful and we don't have one.

I for one hope we never abandon the run. A balanced attack should be our goal. It has been in the past and I hope it stays that way.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to stretch the field, but a one-dimensional offense is easy to stop no matter which dimension you choose to emphasize.

I don't believe that just because the rest of the league being pass happy we should as well.

If nearly every other team is set up to stop the pass, then we should have a dominant run game and exploit that expectation. The more you run, even if unsuccessful a few times, the harder it is to pass rush. Wears down that DL. We all seem to have forgotten in the "explosiveness" talk.

We're having a serious identity crisis on O at the moment.

Once our O can figure out what they are, they will be dangerous. As it sits now, our offense is not gelling unless they are in no huddle. And even then our oline is having issues, but not as many as we do after a huddle.

One thing on the bright side. It takes Julio three attempts to get his first 100 yard game, how many attempts has Michael Jenkins had? lol
