Who's a Pro Bowler?
Discuss the Pro Bowl. Who on the Falcons do you think are going? Who do you think should go?
Personally, here's who I think has a shot. Offense: 1. Matt Ryan - He's a long shot between him, Stafford, and Eli. 2. Michael Turner - Outside of McCoy, I don't know of anyone who deserves it more in the NFC based off production alone. 3. Tyson Clabo - Another very good year from Clabo at RT. 4. Roddy White - Probably the least likely to get in, but he's right there. He's hurt by being in the same conference as Calvin Johnson, Steve Smith, Larry Fitzgerald, and Victor Cruz. 5. Tony Gonzalez - Should be a lock. Him and Jimmy Graham should own this. Defense: 1. Sean Weatherspoon - It's unfortunate that he has to compete with 3-4 OLBs, but otherwise he should be a lock. 2. Curtis Lofton - He has an outside shot, but based off statistics alone he has a chance. Patrick Willis and London Fletcher-Baker are the only others that stand a chance. 3. Brent Grimes - Pre-injury, he was a lock. Now I cannot say for sure, especially since people seem to vote some of the worst guys in based off personality alone... *ahem* DeAngelo Hall *ahem* 4. Matt Bryant - He's been ridiculously accurate all year, with only two misses out of 25 attempts, including a 50 yarder. This one is kinda up in the air though. |

RE: Who's a Pro Bowler?
Way to leave off maybe the Falcons best player and the most underrated player in the NFL.
JOHN ABRAHAM BTW, with Jason Taylor more than likely retiring, Abraham will enter next season as the NFL's active career sack leader. He is 16th all-time. |

With Jared Allen, Jason Pierre-Paul, and Jason Babin having the seasons they're having statistically, it just isn't going to happen this year for Abe. |

I know I quoted stats in my previous message, because they do have some validity over the course of a career, but it is very overrated stat when you look at it in a bubble. I have watched John Abraham straight take over games time and time again. He is an amazing football player that is HOF worthy. I have no idea why he doesn't the credit that he deserves. He is as good as any defensive end in the league, I don't need a stat to tell me that. |

RE: Who's a Pro Bowler?
if abe gets in it's because of reputation.. which is why even if Gonzo had a down year, he's still getting in on reputation
