Defense is becoming less and less important as the league moves forward. Your defense has to be just good enough to not allow your team to be outscored. Look this year, the best highest scoring teams are the ones with the best records but lousiest defenses, minus the Lions. Something is happening there.

Don't get me wrong, he got some sacks, but his defense wasn't all that impressive.

The 8th scoring defense we were a healthier bunch that season. We also had much more pressure and energy. I'd rather have that than this vanilla "bend but don't break" slow death every Sunday because we get zero pressure, no turnovers and just hope our offense can bail us out.

And with DriveSafely, to an extent.... thing is, 9-7 won't get us in a playoff game, I'm afraid. Stupid Panties are looking much improved this year, and the Taints remain a powerhouse.
