Falcons: What is the 2013 Falcons defense going to look like?

Didn't Nolan say he wanted a hybrid defense? Maybe that's a smoke screen but we ran a lot of different looks out there.
I've been wondering about the 3-4 vs 4-3. What is the real difference between DEs?
