Falcons What does Julio's hamstring injuries say about him in the long run?

What does Julio's hamstring injuries say about him in the long run?
I'm not going to begin to pretend that I know ANYTHING about injuries in the NFL. In high school, the only injury I ever had playing was turf toe and a few back issues. With that said, how much does this affect Julio looking into the future? As an explosive playmaker, the last thing you want is hammy tweaks. It's a huge plus that he's suiting up and playing tomorrow, but how much more will it take until Julio is tagged with the dreadful "injury prone" label? Once again, when it comes to NFL injury reports, I will always plead ignorance, so I'm just trying to get some of your opinions on Julio's woes. Talk to ya guys tomorrow!

Training techniques continue to develop. I wouldn't worry. He is a rookie and he needs to get used to the big league.

Rookies really do have a number of various injuries and usually something leg related. All teams have them, just think about Harry Douglas and Peria Jerry just recently.

I'm just glad JJ doesn't have a knee issue. (Hail Mary full of Grace)!

I love the Falcons and to hell with anyone who doesn't!

Nothing. Hamstring injuries can linger over the course of a season, but it's not really a long term kind of thing. They can pop up on anyone and everyone. Now if we hear foot and knee injuries in the same sentence with Julio then I would be worried.

I think a year of NFL training and conditioning will help him.

I agree. Add in that he didn't have the benefit of a training regimen run by our coaching staff during the offseason and I can see why he's had some trouble with injuries. He'll be fine.
