He can be another possession guy, maybe out of the slot. He's got way better hands than HD. And there's got to be a reason they're keeping him on the roster. They must know he's a special receiver, otherwise he'd have been gone by now. RE: We really do need a strong and full draft this year.
The Falcons did release him
http://www.atlantafalcons.com/news/artic...ae5d237a6f The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have waived linebacker Spencer Adkins, linebacker Rico Council, wide receiver Drew Davis, cornerback Dominique Franks, tackle Bryce Harris, linebacker Jerrell Harris, center Tyler Horn, wide receiver Marcus Jackson, cornerback Marty Markett, running back Dimitri Nance, defensive tackle Conrad Obi, defensive tackle Micanor Regis, wide receiver James Rodgers, linebacker Pat Schiller, cornerback Peyton Thompson, and safety Suaesi Tuimaunei. Atlanta has reached injury settlements with tight end Lamark Brown and guard Andrew Jackson. The Falcons have also waived-injured wide receiver Kerry Meier ![]() I'm delusional from our playoff loss against GB . RE: We really do need a strong and full draft this year.
According to the AJC he is still under contract for 2013
http://www.ajc.com/weblogs/atlanta-falco...ract-2013/ Of course there are also dozens of articles out there talking about him getting cut/waived so who knows. I couldn't find anything on him being resigned so IDK |

RE: We really do need a strong and full draft this year.
best was the Falcons hype machine
The Falcons are not easing WR Kerry Meier (ACL surgery) into training camp. A fully recovered Meier has taken part in every practice, and the Falcons are "very pleased" with what they've seen. The versatile Meier is the successor to fourth receiver and special teamer Brian Finneran, so he's more valuable to the Falcons than fantasy leaguer ![]() I'm delusional from our playoff loss against GB .
