RE: We really do need a strong and full draft this year.
We don't need to choose a WR anywhere above the 5th round...my bet is we could find solid talent there undrafted....a RB always slips to the 4th or 5th.....we need to build the D-line and LB corps....it would be nice to get a return specialist who could play DB or WR decently.....I have great faith in TD and Smitty....I am still hoping Jerry does something....like the Baker turn around....but that might be a bit much to ask....unfortunately we will have the #32 pick and unless someone is dying to get into that position....the D-line may be thin by then......we might get lucky with an OG (not that we need one...this is just a position that tends to slide) or tweener (LB/DE - more of a LB). As far as TE we will NOT find a Tony G replacement....we just need to find a decent reliable guy and hope he pans out....there are lots of guys that people thought would be the next big TE and they never paid out.....better to choose a couple of good character tough guys in the later rounds and hope.

Also we can always bring Quiz brother James back in for a tryout....he really has a remarkable set of hands.....I am sure we let him go simply due to his size but make no mistake he could be used like a wes welker (not saying he is that fast...but he is good)
