Nope. And Im going to bed now.

I know you all make jokes about what i say, but this injury is a big deal. Just wait and see when we need him to pressure Brees this week.

RE: We're doomed
The problem is the Saints are gaining steam, and we have the biggest game of the season coming up with our best defensive player hurt. This is going to suck if Brees throws 400 yards / 3 TDs across the middle of the field all day

As much as I hate to say it, he has a point (Jedi's points are usually glimmers at best). You would think in the big picture that this game wasn't that important given y'all virtually have the division locked up. But, if the snowball gets started it could bring y'all into the post-season on a downswing. The Falcons have faced the easiest schedule to date in the entire NFL based upon opponents records. Yes, the fact that eight of those losses came at the hands of Atlanta does temper that fact, but it still stands. The Saints at home, on a resurgent run, are not going to be an easy task. A loss can affect the mindset of a team in what they envision as a huge game.

RE: We're doomed
I can't decide whether this is a serious thread. But, I am gonna bite.

Jedi, you are losing your mind. Let's examine the facts:

1. Spoon is our best defender.
2. Spoon has an ordinary sprained ankle (not a high sprain)
3. The Falcons are 8-0.
4. The Falcons have a four game lead on the Saints.
5. The Falcons can afford to sit Spoon because they can afford to lose this game.
6. The goal is to win the Super Bowl.
7. To win a Super Bowl, you need your best players healthy for the play offs.

This decision is a sign that the Falcons are already planning for the second season. It takes about three to five weeks to properly heal an ordinary ankle sprain. I say sit Spoon. We stand a pretty good chance of beating the Saints without him.

For real... it's not like we haven't played without our best CB all year.

And it's not like you have played against a top tier offense.

You're an idiot. Why would we risk further hurting anyone right now? We played well without him. I'd like to have him too, but we can afford a loss or 2. I'd rather have my guys 100% in January

I think The Saints are awesome and they do everything Legally and Morally
