Falcons: We lost... it's not a big deal

We are still leading the NFC South with a commanding lead. We control our destiny to get into the playoffs.

This last loss was not a big deal.
The big deal that came out of this is showing that we cannot move the ball 1 yard when needed. That is the complaint. It will be fixed.

But, we did NOTHING interesting on O or D.
It was the most vanilla game calling I've ever seen.

There is no doubt in my mind that we are not tipping our hand.
We aren't doing screens anymore, no huddles, moving defenders, etc.

Our goal is to win in the post season. To give more film on what we are capable of is pure foolishness.

I see us doing a lot more vanilla things this year unless we start losing. I see us going 14-2 still. That should get us the #1 seed.

I doubt your tipping our hand theory.
There was plenty of film yesterday on how to run all over our defense. Expect to see it this weekend as well. Teams just don't stop trying to win games because they have 8 wins. You seem to have little respect for the team leadership.

We have a pretty good shot at the top seed because:
The 49ers aren't as good as advertised also Alex Smith Concussed
The Bears have trouble scoring when their D doesn't do the scoring, also they have a couple of tough games coming up and Cutler Concussed
The Packers are decent but already have three losses - I don't see three more on our schedule.
The giants slipping away from the top of the NFC East

Just keep playing Falcon football and keep winning we will be fine. Fall apart after one loss and it could spell trouble.

We made it the goalline twice and didn't score. I'm not sure changing the game plan would have been more effective?
We just can't punch it in is the problem. Even playing vanilla, we could have had a double digit win.

As for the D. They have issues. Stopping the run is the main issue. If we can stop the run, then our D will look playoff worthy.

Did we even run the 3 defensive tackle set that worked great against the Eagles and Cowboys? I don't remember seeing it. Also don't remember seeing the no-huddle expect for the last few minutes of the game.
