Falcons: We have to get Grimes, Hayden and Moore back

I'm seriously starting to think we have some pretty serious coaching deficiencies. If one or two players are always taking plays off, dropping balls, missing on passes, missing blocks, whatever, that's one thing. But when the whole team collapses for an entire game, that means the team was not prepared to play, and that's a coaching issue.

Especially when they have a rookie at QB and their best WR gets hurt. We KNOW they're going to run. Can anyone seriously convince me our game plan did not involve stopping the run? Or that this team is incapable of doing that? On the flipside, we abandoned the run at a time when it appeared it would be a good time to run. That made us one-dimensional.

That's not to let the players slide. Ryan missed some key passes early and we had some key drops late. Dunta got beat and held on a play that took 6 off the board. Hawley looked like a turnstile out there. No doubt about it. But at the end of the day when that many people are crapping the bed in some games but not others, it makes me wonder what the coaching staff is doing to get the best out of our players. The fact that so many are not giving it their best tells me something more serious is wrong than just players flaking on occasion and costing us games. You can't even pin that loss on one or two players. Julio would be the easiest, but is our game plan REALLY contingent on a rookie making every single catch on a game winning drive? If so, there's your problem, not whether he made the catches.

So sure, Julio should have caught the TD. He should have run back to line up. Etc. Or Ryan should have hit his passes. Whatever. But the real problem is bigger than that. It has to be.

I was thinking maybe that was the case against the Vikings, but he was a full practice and not even on the injury report this past week. I'm really not sure what is going on, but I don't recall in the past an injured player practicing some one week, then fully practicing(no injury report) and not playing because he was still "injured".

I hope he comes back soon. Will he take Decouds spot or will Sanders move over to Decoud's spot?

Good point but the fumble we got did not get turnover just the TD
