Me and my buddy used to play basketball with Greg when he'd come home from the Citadel and he'd be busting us up with elbows. Maybe he was trying to toughen us up, but I had no interest in going to the Citadel.

Ok, here, the follow up question I promised. Not a Falcons question

Not long after Davis attended, Lakeside would produce another NFL player. He is considered one of the worst draft pick busts of all time, being picked 15th overall yet never accumulating a single statistic of any kind in the NFL. As a matter of fact, the team that drafted him 15th overall traded him after just ONE season later for an 8th round draft pick.

I am pretty sure nobody could possibly get this one without doing some research, not unless they happened to be attending Lakeside High School in the mid 80s.

Err no, I was just sayin' thats way back to some of us. not '87 I was talking about the 49'ers and Falcons Rivalry back in the 80's to a guy @ work and he listens to my rant and then says Greg.. I was born in '81... so..

I can't remember the name but I'm pretty sure he played defense and was drafted by the team that just beat us! LOL but i ain't gonna go look it up. He was all the rave on the atlanta news for a while after gettin drafted, i can't remember what college he went to, but i DO remember bein pizzed that he didn't go to GA
