Falcons: Time to RISE UP with ATF!

They have so many things to say right now. They will say...

"You will not win on Sunday."

...because we did not win last year.
...because we were embarrassed the year before.
...because in 2008 this current regime’s inaugural year we lost.

We would say...
"Look at the All-Pro QB's we lost against."
"Coordinators held us back with poor schemes and game planning."
"It was simply too tall a task for a young team to overcome."

Personally, I say save your breath for something more important.

Instead, take on the attitude of the players in Flowery Branch right now.
Trust in your inner convictions.
Trust in current success.
Trust in the coaching staff.
Most importantly, trust in the players to not only "Rise Up", but "Rise Above" this occasion.

Our players have created this trust with us fans. Every time they have been challenged this season and had their fortitude poked, prodded, and discarded before the game has even begun, our players have risen above those circumstances.

Our failures are in the past.

Why should we be forced to continue to look back?
Why allow ourselves to be cajoled into thinking the way of the outside man?

We know our team better than anyone and know they will walk softly and take a big Hick’ry stick to anyone opposing their will. Allow no one to colour your perception and hold steadfast to what has made you a fan and what has kept you a fan even in our darkest times, our worst hours, those long years and decades.

We have already laid the intention out there for success, now we must follow up in action and collectively by raising the noise in the Georgia Dome to 125 decibels and raising the roof in our own homes. Be animated in the bar or in the streets and stay excited for your teams' win this Sunday.

They have so many things to say right now. They fear what they cannot understand and hate what they cannot conquer - The spirit of the Atlanta Falcons and their fans, we keep on coming back and every time we are stronger, they keep on saying we can’t and then we do.

We are not defined by anything but what is inside of us; this team is not defined by anything but what is inside of them as individuals and as an entire entity. Let US get behind OUR team and stand unified elevating them with raw emotion and be their driving force.

WE ARE THE ATLANTA FALCONS!

WE ARE THE SPEARHEAD AIMING AT THE HEART OF THE MERCEDES-BENZ DOME!

WE WILL RISE UP!

WE WILL CONQUER!

When it is all said and done they will then only have one thing to say...
