LOL I know a lot of people take the football personal. I don't. There are some guys in the NFL who I think are real pricks. Drew Brees isn't one of them though.

Yeah the ironic thing about Brees breaking the record against the Falcons is that Matt Ryan out gained him in the air in both games.

Not really irony and also wins are more important. All of Ryan's numbers were for naught.

Well it is irony. Brees set the record for passing yardage against the Falcons, but he didn't even have the most passing yardage in either game against the Falcons.

So that fact meets the definition of irony: an outcome of events contrary to what was, or might have been, expected.
