I mean maybe he is the future great DE we've hoped for, but how can you even mention him when there is virtually zero reference that he's either decent, good, great, or total garbage? We haven't REALLY come close to seeing him play. And after being on the team for 3 seasons now, why is that?

My gut feeling is we re-sign Lofton, let Grimes go, offer lowball Abraham, draft a CB in the 3rd round to platoon with Dunta/Owens/Franks/Walls, and finally go after a really big name DE in FA. Like a Mario Williams. And I think it's also possible we go after a FS like Goldson or Griffin as well.

If we do that though, our DT's REALLY need to step it up and get some real freaking pressure for a change. Because we're not going to have the money to do anything else other than maybe this, especially if we're also addressing OL in FA.

I say Sidbury only because we haven't seen all of him. There are times when he looks like he can play and other times probably not. I think Bierman is as good as he's going to get. Mario Williams would be a huge catch but he will tie up alot of money. I don't see the team signing Lofton going after an FS and LT then sign Williams, but you never know how TD will work his magic.
