Falcons The Experts have started to Speak....

RE: The Experts have started to Speak....
they said the samething about Baltimore last week. Nobody gave them a chance going to Denver and beat Peyton's team in his own house! Look where they are now.

Same for us, none gave us a chance all season long. Time after time we proved them wrong, plus we play better as underdong anyways!

RISE UP!

Quote:Well, I like the Niners on Game One of Championship Weekend. That is, unless the most valuable person of the weekend, Atlanta defensive coordinator Mike Nolan, has the best gameplan of his career. Nolan has walked into tough situations before -- trying to resuscitate the Niners in 2005 after they went 9-23 in the previous two seasons, for instance. But I doubt he's had a single challenge like this one: Pen in, on the artificial carpet of the Georgia Dome, a quarterback with sprinter's speed, a veteran passer's instincts and good downfield accuracy, a quarterback who has rushed for 60.6 yards per game in his eight NFL starts, a quarterback who throws very well from odd out-of-pocket angles.

"Love our gameplan," linebacker Sean Weatherspoon told me this week for the SI podcast. He wouldn't be more specific than that, but let me help: With pass rusher John Abraham iffy with his bum ankle, it's up to Weatherspoon and fellow 4-3 outside 'backer Stephen Nicholas to contain Kaepernick and not let him beat them to the edges; at a soggy Candlestick, that might not be as important, but on the fast track of this field, it's essential Kaepernick is kept to the inside. On the other side of the field, Matt Ryan has to lead some looooong drives. Atlanta needs to win two things -- time of possession and the turnover contest -- to win this game. It's possible, but I can't see after Russell Wilson's 445-total-yard dynamism last week how Atlanta can shut down an equally difficult weapon behind center.

No one else in the media has picked more than a 7 point differential, and the most common is 3 points. But Peter King, oh no, he says we'll lose by 9.

It should be worth noting this line at the top of his picks.

WE ARE SO GOLDEN, I WAS SERIOUSLY WORRIED HE WOULD JINX US IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME.....I know superstitious, I just hate when he talks us up...then urns and says NO WAY they are going to win this....

We have only given up 31 to the Saints and 30 to Carolina - Bottomline CK isn't putting 36 on us. Carolina had 2 huge missed tackles that led to 2 TDs and the 31 to the Saints....well it's Drew Brees....I think he is better and has better receivers than CK does.....just my two cents!

RE: The Experts have started to Speak....
Oh thank God, Peter King spoke. He picked against us again. Smile TongueBig GrinGangnam Style

Thanks for posting. Smile

Also Peter King, does not know the GA dome, Ive heard it called many names. Like the big green monster. Dan Reeves said when they put the field in, he almost busted ass several times. I went to this auction thing there and they let us walk on the grass and I almost busted ass. Its not a fast track as he spoke. If your not used to it, there are bad things that can happen, see Kerry Meier, Kap has never played on our field and King writing that. is like dude you have never walked on our field much. Why do you think we want a new stadium. lol Smile

Re: The Experts have started to Speak....
The field is completely different than when Reeves was here. I've been on the current field a few times over the last few years, it actually feels much more like real grass as compared to the previous surface.

RE: The Experts have started to Speak....
I wonder how the Dome field is different than the field they have at the local high school here where I live. The field here is a Field Turf of some sort and it feels just like walking on very thick carpet and it's not very forgiving when it comes to carpet burns. LOL!

RE: The Experts have started to Speak....
The old stuff was way worse. As a kid I went to a football camp at Ga Tech back when it was an artificial surface. I slid across the grain - talk about a burn!! The stuff at the dome now is like satin sheets compared to that.

RE: The Experts have started to Speak....
I don't get it. The only reason why people say the niners will win is because they won last week. That is flimsiest of reasons.

RE: The Experts have started to Speak....
I get it. They look really good. Most of these people aren't really breaking down tape, gameplans, scheme, etc. They are going by an eye test and 49ers have more dominant looking wins. So by the eye test I get it
