It was reported to be a "serious" pec injury. Probably shredded it, out for 6 months

Insert Akeem Dent. I don't think this will be too huge o f a loss. He hasn't played in a year.

I hate to see it happen and I hope he can recover in time to make an impact this season. With that said, I think the 11 draft was so focused on Julio that a lot of the media pundits disregard Akeem Dent as a player. From the little I've seen from him, I can almost guarantee that he'll make a damn fine linebacker. I'll take it for a 3rd round pick, and hopefully it will only cement that year's draft as another victory for Dimitroff.

I might kick the tires on Crowder or Farrior. Just in case we may need depth there I was already concerned with Nicholas's return.

Dent lead our ST in tackles last year. He's not even a gunner and he lead in tackles on kickoffs by a good margin.
