Where has the no-huddle been the last couple of games?

I think the noise in the SD was insane. I saw several times where Matt was literally screaming out the play because it was so loud.

I really have no idea why we were so vanilla this game. I think the notion that we were holding back on purpose so as to not show our hand for the future is ridiculous. Especially since this team preaches "One game at a time." in every stinking interview. I honestly believe we don't look ahead at all. I think it's do everything possible to win this week and we'll do the same after this game is over.

Their OL was abusing our DL. Nearly every running play, each of their RB's had a free 2-3 yards before being touched by any of our players because their OL was bulldozing the shit out of our DL.

And on the flip side, our OL was getting stood up on the line almost instantly. Now add in the fact that Turner takes forever to even get to the line, and it's a recipe for disaster.

Keotter, i'm absolutely sure, was frustrated and abandoned parts of the short yardage gameplan because we had 3rd and long on virtually every drive. He was forcing the point of trying to establish the run which resulted in him being forced to throw just to keep possession.

Losing Julio for 2.5 quarters hurt too. He's a big part of our screen game. Quizz being the lone back on the field telegraphs our only reliable screen receiver.

Nolan not running the amoeba defense is just baffling. He really didn't run any unusual blitz packages either. I think he was so afraid of their passing game and Graham, and Breez has a history of causing players to whiff on blitzes, that I think he really thought manning up and sticking to full coverage and trying to force turnovers was the best approach. But after their OL/run game just abused us, and we realized Nicholas simply couldn't match up with Graham, I think he tried to make adjustments and just went the wrong way with them.

I'm really hoping we go full ameoba with mass blitzing on the next go around.

Blah, there's so much shit that didn't go right this game I just don't get it. In the end, we still could have easily won that game. Bad execution on 5 plays in the last couple minutes prevented that from happening. I mean the chances of us laying an egg on 5 plays like that is and has been incredibly rare and I certainly not the norm.
