Vick got worst after Reeves was fired and it never got any better. He showed flashes of putting it altogether at different times but then would fall back into his old habits. The Falcons were a very good team in 2002. Vick got hurt in 2003 or the Falcons would have gotten the back-to-back winning seasons. Mora won 11 games with Reeves team in 2004 and then had major collapses in 2005 and 2006.

There's no doubt that Reeves was the best thing for Vick. Still wouldn't have been enough. Vick is still Vick. Plus I don't like the idea of the coach being the GM, not anymore, and Reeves wasn't going to be on board with that. Besides, if they hadn't fired Reeves we wouldn't be where we are now, and this team is far better than any of those Vick teams ever were, this is a complete team. Those teams were always missing pieces.
