Papachaz I think this is one of the best moves we could make if bringing anyone in from outside the organisation. Outside of bringing in Bennett, he is the only Free Agent I would have wanted to bring in. Now consider that our draft as I believe will have rounds 1 to 4 all be defensive picks, we have a huge opportunity to build the defense. Remember TD has a method to his madness. It looks odd it looks passive, but it is a situation in which he has prepared and rehearsed multiple outcomes in order to be ready for this. When we have a more solid defense then we can take a RB either this year or next. |

RE: Steven Jackson is a Falcon
This is actually quite a good move. We just made it almost impossible to defend against our offense. It was hard to defend when we went single back in the backfield....now imagine the ability to put Quizz and Jax in same backfield split them off in either direction.....they won't be able to double anyone, since both WR, TE, and both RBs have the ability to catch and score at any moment......
sure our defense needs some bolstering, but remember it wasn't our defenses fault at the end of that championship game (they gave up only 1 TD in each QTR)......it was our offense completely stalling out in the second half (2 FG or a single TD and we would have been whipping the Ravens BUTT).........we have the draft to help our defense get young and strong...... Look at what they said about Seattle.....now who has the better offense.. We will be fine.....I personally think the amount of desire to win that we have talked out of retirement and convinced to play for us....is going to be a HUGE factor down the stretch! Make no doubt....our team is better after this..... |

RE: Steven Jackson is a Falcon
Can we become the old Rams and execute the "Greatest Show on Turf" and just outscore everyone else?
