Has not a thing to do with AP. Its called high risk, high reward. Its also a 4th round pick (hopefully).

But if you wanted to be correct about the select few that are looking at AP knee injury, then its the combination of AP and Charles most likely.

If anything RB is the position that we can take a risk on because we dont lean heavily on one, but uf we hit that homerun, then thats great value. As Beef mentioned before, Lattimore would be above Lacy amd a top 10 pick if it wasn't for the knee injuries.

I think DeMarco Murray is an example of this. Look at the impact the kid has for his team when he is in. Now in an offense that doesn't need to rely on him but effectively and efficiently uses him, the risk of injury decreases and the impact of that players ability tips upwards. This is what I think Jackson was getting at when he said quality touches. You can be made to run the ball like a mad man but its when those touches actually have a higher probability to influence the game.

This is not the case for me. The reason I would take the gamble on Lattimore is because of the introspective they ran on him during the combine. It was about a 10 minute special on Lattimore's path to the draft. They showed what he was doing in physical therapy and how he's progressed. The kid was doing amazing things and looked to be in incredible shape. They interviewed Dr. Andrews and if you know anything about this guy, he doesn't BS or lie. His reputation is on the line. And what he was saying about Lattimore's rehab and abilities was overwhelmingly great. Then they interviewed Lattimore himself and the kid is just awesome. All he wants is to play football. Nothing else is a priority. His work ethic is off the charts disciplined. He's a leader and a good person. He would fit in our locker room perfectly. Absolutely zero ego or attitude.

I think he's worth the risk of a 4th pick (even 3rd round compensatory). But that's just my opinion.

Murray's a really bad example because while he does have a great impact his value is minimized by the amount of games he misses do to injury.

If we draft lattimore why sign jackson?
Snelling can get the same production maybe better than Turner had last year and he can catch. Quizz can get the majority of carries Snelling and ewing the short yards and smith can pick up the slack.

He covered that in very same post you quoted and responded to. He said if we dont have to lean heavily on him and use him efficiently and effectively then we could minimize his attempts, therefore minimize the injury opportunities.

Gives Lattimore a full year to rest that knee. I think youre overestimating how effective Quizz or Snelling would be in those increased roles.

We play the Saints twice a year. We clearly don't want our RB to be targeted.

We re-signed Antone Smith... Does that mean we either draft or go the FA route, but not both?
