We sign Steven Jackson in free agency. He will be our impact in 2013 along with Quizz

We draft Lattimore, no earlier than the 4th, who will take over duties the next year.

Not every pick in the draft will make an impact that same year.

We have 6 or 7 other picks to try and do that with, specifically the 1st 3 picks and that 4th round comp pick.

lofton could yield us a 3rd because of playing time and money he got....weems likely won't yield anything, we would be lucky to get a 6th or 7th round....but they did pay him a decent salary so you never know....

"The Falcons are one good running back from a Super Bowl."

And then he said this about Grimes:

"Whoever signs Grimes gets a major impact player."

It's very clear we are on SJax's radar and he wants to come here. He's not talking about any other teams like he does us.

Why does everyone want Lattimore? I just don't understand it. Why do you want to draft a running back with 2 major knee who's probably 1 more knee injury away from his career being over. Yet we don't know if he can even bounce back from this 2nd injury yet. Sure the doctors say he's way ahead of schedule but that doesn't compare to a real game. Why not take someone who doesn't have all the question marks Lattimore does?

Because if not for the knee injuries he'd be a top 10 pick. So taking a gamble on him could be a home run if he happens to return 100% back to original form. He's just that special. It's worth the risk.

AP's recovery got people thinking that knee injuries ain't nothing to worry about.

AP only had 1 knee injury and what he did was absolutely unhuman. Not everyone can do that.

History shows a big decline is in store for AP.

We can find a decent low risk RB in the draft.
