So not only does everyone want Steven Jackson you want Marcus Lattimore too? WTF? Why not just did up Craig Heyward from the dead?

I say NO to Lattimore. I know about all the "miracles" but Lattimore is a huge risk with uncertain rewards. We can do better than that. I went back and reviewed the SJ highlights that I mentioned earlier. To my eyes, our OL have never opened rushing lanes like that. |

Not surprised to see an Auburn guy who's ignorant about Lattimore. Do some research on him before you look more stupid. Don't just be one of those guys who goes, "Oh, 2 ACL's? Kid MUST have bad knees and will suck.", because you haven't seen what the doctors have said or watched this kid in rehab and you certainly don't understand how special this kid is on the field. Adrian Peterson just came back from an ACL and was 9 yards from the all time single season record. He rehab'd at the same place as Lattimore with the same doctors and those doctors are saying the exact same things about Lattimore that they said about AP. Freak of nature, healing 2x faster than they could have imagined, stronger than ever, will be 100%, etc. etc. Lattimore is a once in a decade RB. He's AP incarnate type of special. Then again, you're an Auburn guy so you won't get it and you'll dismiss all this with some asinine nonsense as expected. |

I know everything there is to know about South Carolina. I know all about Marcus Lattimore. I love the kid. He's a complete stud when healthy. But it's really hard to think he'll ever be the same type of running back he once was after having 2 ACL injuries. Remember the last running back the Falcons had that had 2 ACL injuries? He never played another NFL game after the 2nd ACL injury. Lattimore has yet to play an NFL game and has already had to have 2 ACL injuries. I don't care who the player is nobody is going to comeback and be the same player they were before the injuries. If we were in a position where we could take a gamble on a guy like Lattimore than sure. I wouldn't have any issues with it. But we need impact players right away. The Falcons have a lot of holes to fill. That's the problem here. ![]()

I had a serious hard on for Lattimore until he blew out his knee a second time, can't imagine that he will ever be the same. Doubt he makes it in the NFL.

Lattimore has a better chance of being an impact player in the late rounds than anyone else I see on the board. That may change on draft day... and I doubt Lattimore lasts as long as people project. A 4th for him would be a steal, unless you see a better target with more upside in that round?

Thats why the option to sign S Jax and then draft. Lattimore was brought. We have S Jax now and then Lattimore the years after. It would give him time to get acclimated to the NFL as well as running on that knee |

RE: Stephen Jackson is a FA- Bring em home TD?
No interest in drafting any RB. Sign SJ to a reasonable contract, sure he may be on decline but the guy can still move and we have quizz to split reps with him....
the guy has spirit and a true desire to win. get him in the mold bring tony back....concentrate on a few solid Defensive picks, shore up LB and get a dE with a motor.... then whatever....we will be ready for our run.....we can get there....should have made it this year....but plenty to look forward to..... Don't waste a pick on a RB or TE early (pick up an athletic guy in later rounds) and have Tony G teach him! |

The Falcons need to have a solid draft and get an impact from it for the 2013 season. ![]()
