You're smokin crack.everything looks quick as fuck in comparison to Turner, he would automatically be the fastest RB on the team but that isn't saying much. He isn't as fast as he used to be, and it shows on his tape. Also, I haven't smoke crack since last October....when I started doing heroin. |

That video is 2012-13 highlights. You know... about 3-6 months ago. And he's blowing by LB's like they're standing still and pulling away from DB's. Just look at his run vs Arizona. Only the safety already 20 yards down field could get the angle. Everybody else was behind him unable to catch up. You're just going overboard yet again. I just don't get you sometimes. SJ is the best option out there that fits our system and is proven. Getting him would free us up to draft defense early which we need most. Not some 5th round low percentage chance unproven RB that we hope is a gem. |

RE: Stephen Jackson is a FA- Bring em home TD?
Steven Jackson has over 2,000 NFL carries on him. That's too much mileage in my book.
Oh and only 3 times in his career has he played all 16 games. 2004 - 14 games 2005 - 15 2006 - 16 2007 - 12 2008 - 12 2009 - 15 2010 - 16 2011 - 15 2012 - 16 ![]()

If you think he is just as fast now as he was his first few years in the league we should probably go head and end this conversation here. |

Find a RB with at least 4 seasons under his belt that hasn't missed games. Adrian Peterson in 6 seasons has only played 89 games, playing 16 in only 3 of 6 seasons, averages 293 carries a year, 20 per game. Marshawn Lynch in 7 seasons has only played 88 games, playing 16 in only 1 of 7 seasons, averages 210 carries a year, 17 per game. Frank Gore in 8 seasons has only played 116 games, playing 16 in only 3 of 8 seasons, averages 240 carries a year, 17 per game. Willis McGahee in 9 seasons has only played 130 games, playing 16 in only 3 of 9 seasons, averages 220 carries a year, 16 per game. Steven Jackson in 9 seasons has played 131 games, at least 15 in 6 of 9 and 14 in his rookie year, averages 266 carries a year, 18 per game. Arian Foster is averaging 255 carries a season and 20 per game. Chris Johnson is averaging 293 carries a season and 19 per game. Ray Rice is averaging 245 carries a season and 16 per game. And really I could go on and on and on proving that SJ has average wear and tear on him compared to every other RB in the league. And his production hasn't fallen one bit. There is no sign that he has hit a wall and wouldn't produce for us for a couple years. |

Don't skew the numbers for your liking. Recent history of 4 seasoms shows he has beem healthy, particularly and possibly coordinating with a lighter load. He will get that with us |

We truly don't need him to be like 2006 although it would be a nice surprise. Thats why you see all his supporters point at his ypc stat. He makes the most of the carries he gets. I think thats where its a disconnection. The people who keep harping on his age are thinking we're looking for a franchise RB or something. We're looking a nice proven complement. So yea we're paying more for not having to worry about a lack of production. Focusing on his imminent decline is not a good argument against a rb who averages 4.1 ypc. The best argument right now is whatever his contract will be because its an unknown. What is not an unknown is how productive he has CONSISTENTLY been. Can't deny that |
