RE: State of the Franchise briefing tonight at 7PM
I was reading about the stadium today. If they could push for all those bowls and tournaments to come to ATL, then its automatically worth building a new stadium. Cuz they wont come without it. However, the world cup? If anything, our stadium would have to be better than the cowboys. They are aching for something big there that isn't nfl.

the cowboys stadium is too big for an NCAA tournament, i've seen the game being played there, and there werent too much energy from teh crowd because of the space is too big, you cant even hear the noise

If I recall correctly, World Cup is held at several stadiums at once, so we would not have to compete to be THE spot, just one of several, which is doable.

Watchin the State of the Franchise was fantastic. Was it just me or did the audio guy just need to blast the music...dear god turn it down a few notches....

Anyways, thought the press was fantastic, keeps me hopeful and makes me think we legitimately are the best team in the South and in the NFL. Consistently improving and never settling for being 'good'.

I was actually disappointed with the briefing this year. All of the coaches dodged every single question so we didn't get any information that we didn't already know.

It was either last year or the year before when I watched the "state of the franchise" that had some really good nuggets of info and I remember some of the coaches actually gave some serious answers.

I think its possible that we don't want to show our hand just yet. That's one of the things that helped us be successful in 2008. You didn't know what you were gonna get.

We now have a fresh playbook and an even better roster. There's no reason for us to miss the playoffs this year or next.
