Wow, several of you have no freaking clue who Beau Boch is obviously.

That guy is easily one of the most objective radio hosts in the country. He's the furthest thing from a homer there is. And he's been involved in sports in Atlanta for longer than most of us have been alive and knows more shit about sports than probably all of us put together.

When some ignorant clown calls up and calls him a homer and claims he's talking a team or player up on purpose, they are exactly that, ignorant as fuck, because Beau simply doesn't say anything good about anyone unless he truely believes it. And he does his homework and watches all these guys over and over to form his opinions.

I can't tell you how many times I've been pissed off at him for crackin on some player that I liked, only to realize a year or so later that he was absolutely right about that guy way before anybody else was.

He's earned every right to flip out on some ignorant punk insulting him. And you should hear everyone who he works with give him respect for doing it. They laugh because it's funny, but they've all agreed he has every right to do it.

Sure.....and Ms. Grimes had every "right" to go all ghetto on her twitter account too, but they both still look like idiots to me, and lots of other people too.

Im sorry that I have no idea who this Bock guy is, however, I haven't seen ANYTHING from Harry Douglas to show me that he is going to be a household name this year. I would love to know what this guy has seen that the average fan hasn't. Please understand that I do want him to succeed as much as possible, and I would gladly eat crow if I am proven wrong. I would love nothing more than for HD to come in and be a serious contributor to our offense, and give us the ability to really spread the ball around. As it stands right now, HD just "ain't did nothin" since he joined the Falcons.

i'm 54 years old, i've lived in the atlanta area since 1970. yes i know who beau bock is. about the only thing i've ever agreed with him on, and i'm way in the minority here, is how pathetic Bobby Cox was for all those years as the Braves Manager. to have the talent he had, and only win one Series, well just unexcusable. and some of the stupid moves he made, c'mon man, Liebrandt in against Pucket after he'd hit him so well all those years he was in the american league....geesh

that aside, there have been WAY more times i've listened to him and thougth what a complete and total freakin idiot he was/is. I got to where i couldn't stand the sound of his voice, much less his ideas and commentary. guess what i did, i quit listening to him. I won't call him a homer, nor will i question his fanhood just because my opinion and his differ on so many fronts. i just think he's an idiot, and since i don't have to listen to him, i don't. it's THAT SIMPLE, just because you don't agree with someone you DON'T have to call them out on it every freaking time. when you argue with an idiot, those watching can't tell the difference.

Calling Bock a liar and saying that he was dishonestly hyping up Rodgers, Douglas, Jerry, etc. is a pretty dick move.

The guy didn't call in with concerns, he called in attacking the radio networks as dishonestly trying to sell the Falcons as a good team. That call was an ass.

Attacking?The caller never called anyone a liar he just stated his doubts as to whether HD, Biermann and Jerry are going to be big contributors to the team. So far the evidence is far in the callers corner. I think he was making reasonable claims, definitely nothing worthy of the display of bi polar mania the host made, whether you agree with the opinions or not. With the host's reaction you'd think the caller demanded that JPW and Meier start over Ryan and White. He was far over the top. Reminds me of some of the posters here.
