Either way, the Falcons often kicked ass in the regular season. The Koetter hire can't be meaningfully evaluated until we get to the post season.

I can understand this. Waiting until the playoffs. 0-3 does that to you.

I would disagree about us kicking ass in the reg season tho. I think we skated by. We used the weaker parts of our schedule to get ahead and sprinkled in some nice wins against playoff teams here and there.

I will agree that Super Bowl talk should cease until a post season win occurs but I sure will enjoy the dominance in the meantime. Like Jesus said, I can see the difference between this offense and last year's offense with the same exact team.

In light of the new low contact training camp rules I don't think running offences or running defenses are anywhere near where they will be at mid-season. Denver's balanced offense will test us next Monday. If Nolan adjusts from wk 1 to wk 2 as well as he adjusted tonight we will be bad.............we will be nationwide!

As an Athens boy, pulling for Auburn over Clemson was a 'lesser of two weevils' kind of deal, and I feel your pain at losing to the pretend Bulldogs, but after all, in the final analysis, you did turn the hoses on us. I gladly join you in celebrating this wonderful Falcons performance!!

Yes but the Jags and Bucs were mailing those games in, and they were played in the Dome. This was a season opener on the road.
