RE: So Peyton . . . still don't like the Koetter hire?
It was a tale of two halves.
In the first our offense looked amazing moving the ball up and down the field with ease. Our D looked terrible while the Chiefs did the same.
In the second the defense took over and forced turnovers and got massive pressure on Cassell who looked lost and beaten about midway through the 3rd. Despite the score the game was over. The offense capitalized on great field position in the game and we were able to score quickly. It was amazing how quickly our run D adjusted after the big run by Charles. In the second half when the score was close and they should have been shoving Charles and Hillis down our throats the run D stiffened and put the game away. I was more worried about our run D than O now its shifted.

I don't think this falls squarely on Turner. The line was not opening holes for anyone and when they did both Turner and Quizz got some good gains. It can be fixed and will be. By the time the game was sure in hand the Chiefs focused on the run, which they should have and shut it down.

We controlled this game from the fumble on. That is what matters. I guarantee we will win a game or two on the ground this year but remember neither of the super bowl teams last year had good running games. The Giants I believe were 32nd. It just isn't that important nowadays. CJ Spiller had 14 carries for 169 yards and 2tds today. The Bills also gave up 48 points.

We found a way to win and dominate today. Not to shabby. If you don't think this team is better and playing at another level this year than I don't know. Right now the NFC is wide open. Both NO and GB lost big at home. Despite the scores those games were not that close. Carolina another darling to some in the press, looked awful too as the Giants. Anything can happen but this feels good.
