I would normally agree, but I have to wonder how much the lock-out factored into this. Players aren't machines, and even machines operate differently under a variety of conditions.

I have to wonder if he "slipped" after being out of contact with the coaching staff the whole off-season, and do to lack of maturity is mismanaging his frustrations. Don't get me wrong, I like the guy, but some people have to be ridden to get the best out of them. Looking back at what made him turn around, I think he's one of those.

You might be right on that.

So, TD is to blame for Roddy's drops and penalties. Makes perfect sense.

Obvious agenda is obvious.

Yeah, that could actually be right. Things going on behind the scenes can be a huge distraction and if one isn't careful could actually harm their concentration during a game. So yeah, uh huh. Thanks for helping me clarify that.

What things are going on behind the scenes between TD and Roddy that would cause the latter to be distracted to the point of losing concentration during games? Please share with us the vast inside knowledge you attained while playing JuCo football back in the day.

Being a butthole wins little with me man.

Its simple though. A conflict with a coach or not buying into a system can demotivate a man to the point of lacking in concentration or the actual will to play. You understand what I mean? No? Okay. You ever seen a player suddenly lose interest in football, then come back a year or two later with some fire and intensity? There are quite a few examples, we are just new to it.

Did I explain that well enough for you bro, or do I have to go to Pre-K levels for you?

I just can't bring myself to fault anyone but Roddy for his problems, regardless of his reasoning. If he's lost faith or has issues with the FO, then I still can't have that justify his lack of play. Two game winning TD passes dropped, league leader in drops, numerous dumb penalties, poor run blocking, etc. No excuses for that, at all, especially dropped passes. The ball hits you in both hands, you better catch the fucking ball.

TBH, I am very angry with Roddy, but wanted to trade him a while back. Most recently '09 and had to eat those words. I felt that Douglas and Jenkins could do the work just fine and draft a WR later on. That was during the contract disputes.

I always fault the person on how they handle things but I did mention about getting a better staff because I have heard that more than Roddy is at odds with Mularkey. I use to have an insider who was a part of the staff, but now I don't. Even then mistakes were made so its hard to say if this guy is on target or not.

I just wish that he had less drops, but didn't Douglas miss a wide open pass during the game as well?

cooperbh tries so hard to be a jerk that he'll miss a point even if its dead in his face.

Hit a nerve, huh?

Anyway, pretty sure coaches reside in the locker room, not the front office. You claimed Roddy's problem went beyond the locker room all the way up to the front office and your whipping boy, TD.

So, no - you didn't explain it well enough. In fact, you didn't explain it at all.

So, again, what specific things has TD done to cause Roddy to lose concentration during games?
