I can see moving Clabo to LT, but he got beat today as well.

There's another gorilla in the room that isn't being addressed. Dimitroff moved up in the draft to pick Baker. You'd better believe someone has an ego stake in seeing Baker start at LT.

Seeing as how there was a run on drafting LTs in that draft, I can see why he moved up.

I thought Baker would be better than what he's been showing so far.

I didn't fault the decision at the time - this is a hindsight thing. But I'm afraid hubris might stand in the way of sound judgment going forward.
