Roddy makes that catch We Win
Ugly ass game, but no shame in losing to a tough team on the road. We beat ourselves with mistakes, and it came down to the final seconds. It happens.
Our team is what it is - we have the worst O Line in the NFL, we know that. Hope they can figure out a way to fix that but that wont happen until they get Sam Baker out of the LT position. Put Svitek in there, and demote Baker to 2nd string. I hope Ryan can just survive this season, but I dont think he will if they dont make some O-Line changes quickly. Lot of season left to go. We'll get the Bucs back when they come to the Dome. |

RE: Roddy makes that catch We Win
I feel the same way I think we will take care of them when they come to Atlanta, and I will be surprised if Ryan makes it thru the season without some major injury, he has a deer in the headlights look about him now, I dont know how much of this is a mental lack of confidence in not only him but alot of other players on this team, they have just got to somehow put this behind them and focus on Seattle.

Yep, Ryan is taking an absolute beating out there. He's tougher than he looks, but he can only take so many hits.

That look sure changes when he goes into no-huddle. Any QB would look that way if he was getting crushed 3 out of 4 downs. He had complete control until we get to the red zone and let Mularkey take back over. The INT was all on Roddy deflecting it. Matt is the least of our problems. Keeping him upright is a problem, and the only thing I can think of is let him run hurry up the rest of the year. It's the only time he stays upright consistently. |

Why does everyone think Ryan is falling apart out there? Deer in the headlights?!? really? He has the more focus in the fourth quarter than anyone else.

That's the problem. If he has a deer in the headlights look in the first 3 quarters it's from befuddlement of what he's hearing from upstairs. The kid is all business when he's in control. The thing is, Tampa was the better team today, in that good sportsmanship type of way. We are a much more talented team overall, and it's a joke that the coaching staff can't get their heads out of their asses to use that talent to the fullest. We need to get a new Tackle, whether that means move Valdez up, make Svitek the starter, or find a FA. We need to dump Bosher and if the FO really wants to develop him, put him on the Practice Squad. Last we need to let Matt make all the field calls. He needs to be the one to decide when to go no-huddle. |

Look I'm glad Ryan is our QB, I know I would have the same look if I had this O-Line to protect me but we pay him alot of $ ,he's a seasoned QB, he along with all the players have to step up and play to their potential, the big $ has been put into this offense and it's frustrating to watch, there is enough blame to go around- coaches, players ,management. The season is young- fix the problem |

I live in Illinois and had to go to a bar to watch the game yesterday. It was packed with Chicago and Green Bay fans and I only had one little TV off to the side. At one point, a couple of Green Bay fans came by to check on our game and chit chat. The general consensus was that they really liked Ryan and that he is one tough SOB. Even though we lost, they said they hope we can pick it up and make the playoffs...so the Pack could beat us again. Still, I liked that show of respect. The Man In Black
