RE: Roddy White feels he's hurting the offense
Turner was out a good portion of the time during the 3rd quarter...the announcers even commented on it. we came out in the 3rd airing the ball out...Ryan just wasn't hitting his marks. what game do ya watch?

Ummm, I watched the game that had 2 of the 4 series we ran in the 3rd quarter start with 2 up the middle Turner runs and end with us going 3-4 and out twice.

You might want to get that memory checked.

RE: Roddy White feels he's hurting the offense
“We are up and down every week,” Jones said. “We have to be steady. We just have to keep working on that as an offense.”

I blame the coaching staff for that. A team takes it's identity from it's coaching and if Smitty allows it, then it's going to keep happening.

I wish I knew how Smitty is handling this behind the scenes. The only thing he allows us to see from the sidelines is him pacing, running his hands through his hair and making red marks in his little book.Undecided

"TOUCHDOWN! MY GOD, A TOUCHDOWN! WE THREW IT TO HAYNES! WE JUST STUFFED THEM WITH FIVE SECONDS LEFT! MY GOD ALMIGHTY, DID YOU SEE WHAT HE DID? DAVID GREENE JUST STRAIGHTENED UP AND WE SNUCK THE FULLBACK OVER! … WE JUST STEPPED ON THEIR FACE WITH A HOBNAILED BOOT AND BROKE THEIR NOSE! WE JUST CRUSHED THEIR FACE!" - Larry Munson broadcast UGA vs Tenn, 2001

Rest In Peace, Larry. You will be missed.

They have proven, over the years, that they can handle things quite well when they need to. We are 2-2 with quite a bit of scheme changing still left to do before January.

RE: Roddy White feels he's hurting the offense
Roddy White is the least of my worries with this team. I don't think we would have won the Bucs game even with a touchdown on his dropped pass. I'm extremely worried about our offensive line. I'm beginning to think we let the wrong guy walk out of the Falcons organization when we didn't resign Dahl. Maybe he was our anchor. .

Damn. We are 2-2, and we have a whole season left, but I feel like this coming Sunday night could define our season. It will either be a decent game, or an absolute blood bath. I'm taking the latter of the two if the offensive line doesn't step up.

Let them prove that to us in the playoffs. Then I'll give them more creedence.
