first off, I merged the two threads that were started almost the same time.

secondly, I just read Pay Y's article on this (for what that's worth) and he says this move was done to show perform or risk your job. if that's the case, how is Franks still the PR? and Turner still getting the bulk of the carries?

They aren't fucking around. Cutting him mid-season is sort of strange due to his cap hit. I wonder if we will ever know if there was some other reason.

Franks I can't answer for but Turner over the years has earned his benefit of the doubt. Note that on the last punt of the game, HD got it, he went nowhere but he was there.
