We're talking about college prospects. I'm not saying this kid is the best prospect in football. I'm explaining his overwhelmingly freakish athleticism and commenting on the potential this type of athleticism can and sometimes does bring.

The kid is super raw. He only just started playing this game for the very first time 4 years ago. He's got shitty technique and stands up too high. But that shit can be coached out of him by professionals. Not every player in college comes into the NFL polished and playing like a probowler instantly. They do learn and get better. Sometimes they become great.

The kid has 17 blocked kicks in 3 years of college (10 FG's, 7 pat's) for crap sakes. That's ridiculous in itself. At 6'8 280, he runs a 4.6-4.7 40 with a 38" vert jump and 82" wingspan. He can also bench 225 36 times.

To deny the potential this kid has simply based on those freakish as fuck athletic stats is moronic.

JJ Watt only had 11.5 sacks coming out of college. But he's 6'6 290 and runs a 4.8 40 with a 37" vert jump and 34 reps of 225 on bench. He played at freaking Wisconsin and now he's the best defensive player in football. Demarcus Ware came out of Troy for goodness sakes. Jason Pierre-Paul didn't start playing football until he was 18 year old senior in high school and then was drafted out of South Florida. A lot of college kids get picked based on potential as a result of their athleticism.

And nobody knew these guys would be as incredible as they have been. The one common thing among them though was off the chart athleticism. They were drafted more on potential than anything.

First I never said the kid was going to be a BUST . Kid is raw like you even stated so to spend a first round or 2nd round draft pick on a extremely raw prospect for a unit that has not developed any pass rusher over the past 5 years .
This kid is going to need time to develop and by then he will be 28/29 if he ever comes into his own. Our first round and 2nd round picks this year HAVE TO START ..Limited cap space and with some dire needs at some holes. RG if we switched Konz to C. We need a DE . We need a STARTING DT . We are going to need a TE . We are going to need a starting RB . So you want to spend a 2nd round draft pick on a extremely raw prospect .

2nd like you stated which was FALSE Margus Hunt didnt get a sack vs the top rated prospect OT he got it from other Texas AM Tackle Jake Matthews and the inside Guard on a stunt .

Here is a youtube of Margus Hunt getting man handled by Texas A& M in 2011

Now before you claim this youtube Video is gospel . That is far from truth Im using video as example how he was man handled by top tier offensive line men and not once in this video did I see a positive play from him .

I'm delusional from our playoff loss against GB . Don't take me seriously until year 2413 .
