RE: Post Game Press Conference
My lasts words on this are how short some people's memories are. To say this team doesn't get jacked up about playing. Explain both games against New Orleans or the emotion and fire against Philly. It's going to happen you are going to catch fire at times and keep your head in others. You don't realise but this is exactly what Gonzalez is referring to when he talks about fans jumping off. It's one thing to be constructively critical. But I've seen so much I'll thought out sphincter spew for opinions on here over this that I am more than disappointed. I am far from happy that we lost. But I understand and accept that it happens. It would have been great to display the demeanour that we did and beat the panthers as jacked up as they were. To take all of that hate and energy the had and turn it back on them watch them pick and fight amongst themselves, but teams can't always elevate to that level. Look at the Patriots when they faced the Seahawks. They were getting shit talked until kingdom come before during and after that game. They didn't try and play to that level. You have to play to your own in your own way with your own intensity. Otherwise you aren't playing your game.
This Falcons team doesn't have the same gameplan or rhythm week to week. Especially on Offense. They switch it up a lot we have come out and ball controlled. We have come out an quick striked and we have come out and laid an egg and gone 3 and out but the tempo changes are pretty decisive when the occur. Again, you want a public coach find one and support him. If you want the right guy for building something in Atlanta accept that he is already here and knows how to handle his players. The guy got criticised for chewing Asante Samuel out after an int. right after it had happened and cost us field position. But you want him to show some passion or some fire in a press conference to satisfy what? Feelings? It changes nothing about the game for him, for the players or for the fans, nah go back to the locker room, back to the branch and get ready to prove it against the giants. |
